During your appointment

At Sophia Women’s Center, you will meet with a Patient Advocate. After reviewing your personal concerns and specific situation, she will give you information about your options – abortion, parenting, and adoption. She will also let you explore your options in a safe and non-judgmental space. The length of this part of your appointment will depend on how much time you want spend processing your situation as we understand that every woman is different. Sophia does not profit from your decisions. Our goal is for you to be empowered and confident in whatever choice you make.

At the end of the appointment, your Advocate will give you a customized list of referrals and/or resources. If necessary, she will also schedule a follow-up appointment, and she can address any additional questions or concerns you might have.

The staff is so welcoming and friendly. They go above and beyond for you. I've went with two of my unplanned pregnancies they did a ultrasound for both confirming my pregnancies. I was given a small gift when I went, then followed up mid pregnancy, and invited us back after the baby was here and gave us so much stuff for them. If you are newly pregnant and need confirmation and friendly faces I highly suggest going here.

Everyone here is very helpful and kind. I went here when I was so lost and didn't know what to do. My heart was telling me to keep the baby but my brain was saying it wasn't the time. They were very understanding and made sure that I knew all of my options and also what to expect. While they were talking with me the father was out in the waiting room reading up as well.

Sophia women’s center was amazing. I felt so safe the whole time I was there and truly felt so heard and understood. They never pressured me one way or the other (meaning abortion or not) and educated me on ALL my options. Even some that I didn’t even know were possible. I definitely recommend going here if you find yourself in an unexpected pregnancy. The staff is so kind and caring and will support you in your decisions to ensure you are well taken care of and safe, no matter what.

This place was beyond amazing. Staff was incredible and made me feel comfortable. They heard my concerns, and still educated me on every possible outcome. I would highly recommend to any expecting mother. Such genuine people here that I will never forget.
